For the sake of this article I have left out some of the more common at home treatments for high blood pressure. Such as lessening salt intake, exercising regularly and using diuretics.
Those are the most common treatments and most of you probably were already well aware of them.

One of the biggest factors when it comes to natural ways of lowering blood pressure at home is quitting bad habits.
Bad habits such as smoking, overeating, unhealthy diet, excessive alcohol consumption, eating too much sugar and not living an active lifestyle.
All of these poor habits can greatly worsen your high blood pressure putting your health at a greater risk.
Try replacing bad habits with good ones instead of trying to stop everything instantaneously. Try chewing gum instead of smoking or pick up another habit to replace it.

Saturated fat creates cholesterol in the body which is why it is so important to keep any eye on your saturated fat intake.
Too much cholesterol can have devastating consequences for those with high blood pressure. Leading to much more serious health issues such as stroke or heart disease.
